As we age our skincare needs change. During adolescents its all about treating acne. Well, at least for me it was. Now I am more concerned about sun damage, wrinkles, and well still acne. So funny, as my acne clears up I start to notice the signs of aging more. I honestly did not realize the signs would start to show up in my late 20s. So, I am focusing a lot on wearing sunscreen and preventing further damage to my skin. Aging is inventible but, I do believe we can always improve our skin.
Peptide Serum: This serum is collagen boosting. Improves skin thickness and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. I apply the peptides after I wash and tone my face.
Jade Roller: Reduces dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Promotes blood circulation to the eye area. Helps reduce puffiness in the face and stimulates stagnate lymphatic system.
Witch Hazel: I love witch hazel because it helps tighten up pores. As you age the larger your pores can become.
Day Cream: As a mentioned before sun damage can speed up the process of aging. A good day cream should also have an SPF. I love this specific cream because it is lightweight and does not have a strong scent. I also love how you can feel your skin tightening soon after application.
Face Wash: This is the first step of my skincare routine, I follow this up with the rest of my acne routine linked here. I like to use this face wash to help remove makeup. I also like it because it makes my skin soft and preserves moisture.
Eye Gel/Cream: Helps reduce puffiness and wrinkles. The skin around the eye is more sensitive so it is important to use a cream or gel dedicated to this area. I personally prefer the gel and I love the light cucumber scent. It is affordable and I saw visible results after a week.
Vitamin C Helps even skin tone and brightens skin.
