I FINALLY got to go on my first cruise. Which also happened to be the first time I ventured out of the country. I know, I am way late or early depending on how you look at it but, I wanted to share what I wore for my first ever cruise.
My first cruise was in December so I didn’t get to wear any swimwear, shorts, or sundresses. However, I did get to bring some pretty awesome office. Well, at least I think so. I spent 1 month collecting outfits for this cruise. Lets just say I did not come to play. I think the mission was accomplished because a lady even committed on how big my suitcase was.
Anyway, Lets get started.
Most of my outfits came from the same handful of online shops. I found almost everything at Lulu’s, Red Dress Boutique, and Make Me Chic. However a few add on items came from Charlotte Russe.
This outfit is from a online shop called Make Me Chic. This look was one of the first things I ordered from the brand and I was not disappointed. The quality matches the affordable price and most items are true to size. Some clothing does run small so I would encourage you to look at the size chart. Shipping isn’t speedy but the clothes are so affordable it is worth the wait. Top and overall dress are both from Make Me Chic. This outfit is a little outside of my normal style but I love it. This was the first outfit I wore on the cruise on night one.
So, I wanted something a little sassy but not over the top. I love to be stylish and comfortable. This dress did not require strappy uncomfortable heels, so it was immediately a winner. This bodysuit maxi dress is from Express and I got it on sale for only $40. The black booties are from Payless. Also pictured in the photo above. I have big feet so Payless is my go to spot for shoes.
OMG, how can you not love the color of this dress. I get it a lot of people don’t like crushed velvet but to me this dress is a killer. I wore it on night 2 of the cruise. The dress is from Lulu’s and the leather jacket is from Charlotte Russe. The blue dress is a wrap around that ties, it also has a deep v neck and is long sleeve. The Mexican cruise was in December and was a little rainy so I wore things that I could layer or remove depending on how cool or hot it was .
This dress was an old dress that I did not specifically buy for the cruise. The dress is a long sleeve cold shoulder dress form Target. The Blazer is from like 5 years ago and I don’t remember where I bought it.
This lovely dress is what I wore for New Years Eve. I was a little basic with the sequin. However, I wanted little sparkle and something that I could layer with a blazer and tights because I knew it was going to be cold. I hate the cold so I wanted to be prepared. The Dress is from Red Dress Boutique and the blazer is from Charlotte Russe. I of course paired it with the comfy black booties from Payless. You see the theme here cute and comfy. I hate wearing heels because my feet hurt almost immediately so comfort is more than a must.
